Vision

We believe that good text should be born as a piece that is tested and verified against credible sources.

Not everyone has the luxury of a real reviewer and editor. Here comes the idea to structure text creation around a basic approach and provide the writer with a tool to verify ideas and passages against such sources.

Typical steps in text creation are:

1. Identify a topic: Determine what you want to write about - what subject, area, or theme is relevant or interesting?

Here, the Tema editor comes in the form of a chat where you can brainstorm ideas and play with them until you select the one you want to develop. You can find a list of literature during the brainstorming session and save it to your draft for the research phase. Just drag the blocks over to the Draft on the right side of the app window. All the work will be focused around these blocks.

Darfts view is always on the right on purpose, you just collect there bits and pieces and than turn it into structured piece.

2. Research: Once you've chosen a topic, the next step is to research it. Find reliable sources of information such as scholarly papers, news sources, and other relevant materials.

Drag the texts with titles you have found onto the shelf picture, and Tema will add the books and articles to your Literature list. Tema will also track the sources so that you can easily reference quotes, summaries, analysis, and other notes accurately and give proper credits.

Use the stage to research the sources. You can ask the AI about them in free form or use pre-selected requests.

To verify the text against the book or article, drag a block from your draft onto the Book block. Testing your theories and conclusions is the moment that distinguishes a true researcher from an average one.

3. Outline: Create an outline for your article that includes an introduction, main section, and conclusion. This will help you to organize your thoughts and ensure that you don't miss any important points.

Add heading blocks to outline the text. These blocks will serve you further, and if they are descriptive, you can ask the system to connect the ideas within them, so the draft runs smoothly.

4. Write: Start writing your article using your outline as a guide. Make sure to write in a clear and concise manner, and check your work to ensure that your grammar and spelling are correct.

Since the Tema is created for drafting, we propose that you draft in blocks. This way, you can move them around, make changes, connect ideas and rethink the structure. It's about gathering independent and truthful pieces of copy, which you will turn into a meaningful message to the public.

5. Edit: Editing is a vital part of the writing process. Go over your article carefully, revising sentences where necessary, removing redundancies, and ensuring that your ideas are expressed clearly.

Tema does not offer you many tools for traditional edit work, yet.

6. Proofread: Finally, proofread your article for any typos or errors. Read it aloud to yourself, or have a friend or colleague read it over for you.

Proofreading, with the exception of standard macOS tools, is not included.
